How to request deletion of your Algarve 365 mobile app account and associated personal data.

Steps to request account deletion
Open the app and sign in
Launch Algarve 365 on Android or iOS and sign in with the account you want to remove.
Open Settings
From the home experience or your profile, open the menu and choose Settings (gear icon).
Confirm account deletion
In the account section, choose delete account, read the warning, and confirm. This sends a secure request to our service to remove your user record and linked personal data from our primary database. When finished, you are signed out automatically.
If you cannot use the app
Email info.algarve365@gmail.com from the address registered on your account. Suggested subject: "Account deletion". Include the email you signed up with and, if you have it, any reference our team gave you. We may ask for a short verification step before we complete the request.
Data removed with your account and data that may be kept longer
Categories of personal data normally deleted with your account
When deletion succeeds, your user row is removed from our main database and, by design, personal data linked to that user id is removed in cascade, including:
- Profile and account: email, name, phone if provided, nationality, onboarding status, avatar reference, and other fields on your user row; your session identity with our authentication provider is also removed where applicable.
- In-app activity tied to you: favourites, bookings linked to your user, stored preferences, push notification device tokens, and notification subscriptions on your account.
- Community content you created: posts, comments, likes, reports tied to your user id, and related activity notifications in that context.
Information that may be retained for an additional period
In limited situations some categories can remain temporarily or where the law requires:
- Backups: encrypted disaster-recovery snapshots may still contain your data until those snapshots are rotated and overwritten — typically weeks, not years.
- Infrastructure and security logs: technical metadata (for example IP addresses or request logs) may be kept for a limited time to protect services or investigate abuse, then deleted or aggregated so you are no longer identifiable.
- Sign-in with Google or Apple: those providers maintain their own account and privacy history under their respective policies; you can review or delete data with them separately.
- Legal obligations: where the law requires retention (for example accounting or tax evidence related to a transaction), we keep only what is necessary for the legally required period.
Self-service deletion in the app is normally processed immediately. Email requests are handled within a few business days after verification.
