MotoGP Portugal 2026 takes place from the 20th to the 22nd of November at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, in Portimão. For three days, the Algarve hosts MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 on one of the most spectacular circuits on the world calendar.

When is MotoGP Portugal 2026?

The MotoGP 2026 Grand Prix of Portugal takes place between Friday, November 20th, and Sunday, November 22nd. Portugal will be the 21st round of the 22 scheduled for the season, immediately before the final in Valencia.

Where is the MotoGP held in Portugal?

The race takes place at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, located near Portimão. Known as the “rollercoaster” of MotoGP, the circuit stands out for its large elevation changes and fast corners.

The track is 4.59 km, 15 curves, nine on the right and six on the left, in addition to a maximum straight of approximately 970 meters.

Friday, November 20th

The weekend starts with Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP training. The first MotoGP session is scheduled for 10:45am and Practice for 3:00pm.

Saturday, November 21

Saturday will be one of the most intense days. After training and qualifications, the MotoGP Sprint is scheduled for 3pm.

Sunday, November 22

Sunday is the big day. After the Moto3 and Moto2 races, the main MotoGP race is scheduled for 2pm. Schedules may change, so we recommend confirmation close to the event.

How to get to the Autódromo do Algarve?

The circuit is located in the Mexilhoeira Grande area, in the municipality of Portimão. If traveling by car, plan to arrive in advance, especially on Saturday and Sunday when the busiest crowds are expected.
